Thanks to a “well connected” anonymous source and Kotaku, we have a glimpse of what the next chapter in Assassin’s Creed will look like and where it will take place.

Kotaku was able to get a hold of some leaked images of the new Assassins Creed game today and it gives us quite a bit of information regarding the new game. According to the information and screens leaked, the new game may be called Assassins Creed: Unity and will take place in Paris during the revolution in the 18th century.

This is one of two AC games that are being produced currently, Unity will be for the Xbox One and Playstation 4 and the other, which is codenamed “Comet”, will be for the Xbox 360 and Playstation 3.

In the screenshots that were sent to Kotaku by a “well-connected” anonymous source, we get to see 18th century France and some notable landmarks such as Notre Dame.

Some gamers are already starting to bash the upcoming game since it seems like there is a new AC game every year, but then again these are probably the same players who praise Call of Duty for being groundbreaking and original year after year. Ubisoft was able to make something original and incredibly fun to play with Assassins Creed: Black Flag and it will be quite exciting to see what they have planned for the upcoming games and how immerse they will make this game compared to its predecessors.
